DVMISSION 2012 time line The date for DVMISSION 2012 has not been set. As a rule the challenge opens for applications in May and runs over one weekend in October or November. The Launch and Premier Nights take place in Portsmouth - UK. Including international entries we can accept a maximum of 25 teams. Places are given on a first come first serve basis. A reserve list is held. Check back to this web site early May 2012 for a full listing of dates and to get a copy of your application form. Alternatively sign up to DVMISSION MISSION HQ for updates on all important times and dates. International entries The 2011 challenge was the first time we had international entries. Teams entered not only from across the UK but also from Mumbai (India) and Tangshen (China). Films for DVM12 can be submitted via DropBox if you are entering outside of the UK. |

The DVMISSION 2012 Awards... ...Spirit of
DVMISSION Each year
the judges do a fantastic job of deciding who wins the
prestigious DVMISSION awards. However, a few hours is not
very long to watch 25 films over 10 awards. Some times a
moment of pure genius slips past with out being noticed.
For this reason the 2011 Challenge has created the Hidden
Genius Award. The films will all be loaded onto the
DVMISSION web site for anyone to comment on and nominate
for the Hidden Genius Award. Ultimately the decision will
be mine. I will then present the award to you in person
wit5h in a few weeks of the Premier Night (in a suit,
with a photographer and film crew). |
